With change we exist

Thursday, October 21, 2004

With cooling winds upon me, I taste memories in the air. I taste salt residue on my sun baked lips as a reminder of a season passed.

I see beautiful reds, browns, oranges and such in the nature that surrounds me. This tells me of the now, as I am part of the change. I am forever changing with my surroundings.

I feel a mild numbness come over the tips of my fingers. This hints to me, a time that is yet to come; a time when cold silence fills the air; a time when nature blankets her blessed soil with a glistening powder coat.

With this, I have left but a single season; a season when the numbness in my fingers will fade away; a season when the beautiful colors will be green, reborn and full of life; a season when the sun softly strokes my lips, as to say, I have missed you. With change we exist.
