One final down

Thursday, December 09, 2004

Last night I had one of my finals. It was for my C++ class. I am pretty sure it went well. I only need to get a 78% on the final to maintain an 'A' in the class. The final was six pages long. It was a combination of analysis, evaluation of expressions, pointers, data structures, and memory allocation. There was one section at the end about Dynamic Linked Lists that was a little tricky. It was a pretty straight forward problem needing a traversal algorithm, but I hadn't read all the material. So, if I screwed something up, that is probably where.

I have one more final on Monday. I am really looking forward to getting it out of the way. It is going to be the hard one. I need an 83% on it to maintain in 'A' in the class. That class is computer organization. It deals with boolean algebra, assembly, machine code, gates & circuits, adders, compilers and all sorts of binary / ascii / hex manipulation. should be a piece of cake, right? Sure, if I was Luke Bilger ~ Mathematician Extraordinaire.

I hope the rest of you students out there traveling into final land have planned for the trip. good luck with your journey.
